Short Bio

Negm holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical Elementary Particles Physics, an M.Sc. in Theoretical Nuclear Physics, and B.Sc. degrees in Physics and Applied Mathematics, alongside an MBA and a Diploma in International Law. He also chairs an academic position in Information Security-Cryptology. As a member of the IEEE Technical Committee of Security Standards, Negm serves as a peer reviewer and Associate Chair for the Security Standards Committee. He actively contributes to legislative committees, specializing in compiling digital crime and privacy laws across diverse jurisdictional systems.  Additionally, Negm is associated with the US Digital Forensics Certification & Examination Board, providing professional training to legal professionals. He is also affiliated with the American Institute of International Commercial Arbitration and the London Court of International Arbitration, focusing on technology and communication sectors.  With thirty-two patents, including twenty-four in network security and digital forensics, Negm has authored 45 papers and held academic positions at Ain Shams University. He is a certified field witness expert in EU-based courts and US east state courts.  Over the past four years, Negm has collaborated on cloud security architectures and smart secure cloud technologies in Egypt. He is currently involved in developing various frameworks for Blockchain Cloud-based data connectivity and identity protection, as well as Interactive generative AI for digital governance.  During his tenure at IBM, Negm held leadership positions, eventually becoming the Global Competency Center Leader for WATSON security services. He is as holder of IBM Fellow and Master Inventor. He also served as the technical director of ISS EMEA.  Negm's experience spans academia, industry, and research, making significant contributions to the fields of security standards, digital forensics, and cloud technologies.
